“Steed and Evans has many traditions, one of the most important of which is supporting and giving back to the communities that have helped sustain our business since 1953.

Local Charity & Non-Profit Support

Each year, we support a variety of non-profit organizations and charities. A few of these have included:

Investing in the Builders of Tomorrow

Over a half-century of experience has taught us that our strongest competitive advantage is a knowledgeable and skilled workforce with the adeptness to apply technology and solve real-world problems.

Students need the opportunity to gain practical work experience while in school to discover the exciting career possibilities of our industry.

Educational Funding

Over the years, we have contributed scholarships, grants, and educational experiences to ensure the builders of the future have what they need to get started.

At Conestoga College a few of these initiatives include:

  • The Steed and Evans Limited Graduation Scholarship
  • Participate as a Member of the Conestoga Program Advisory Committee since 1998
  • Funded the “Steed and Evans Construction Materials & Soils Testing Laboratory” at the Conestoga College School of Engineering and Information Technology.

Employment & Mentorship

We understand the importance of mentorship and guidance early in a career. That’s why Steed and Evans offers programs that help youth develop and add valuable experience to their resumes.

On Site Experiences

There’s no better way to learn about the Construction industry than to be on-site as projects are coming to life. To engage students and interested youth, we offer field trip tours, job shadowing experiences, and events such as Construction Day.
